What Is Real Rights?

Real right means the legal authority that a person has over a property and that must be protected against others. The real right gives various powers to the owner in matters such as ownership, use, utilization and disposal of the property. Since the real right is only related to the owner of the goods, it continues in the event of the change of hands of the goods. The real right is also an absolute right, that is, it must be recognized and respected by everyone. The right in rem is regulated in detail in the Turkish Civil Code.
